Clarence Jerry Lemon, 82, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on January 14, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1942 to the late James and Myrtle (Boyett) Lemons.
He was a NASCAR enthusiast while also enjoyed attending the Huntsville Speedway as often as he could. Throughout his career, he worked at the Cotton Mill and Huntsville Manufacturing.
Clarence is survived by his children: Tammy (James) McMillan, James (Kimberly) Lemons, Jessie Lemons, Jennifer Welch, and Missy (Billy) Leatherwood; his grandchildren: Guy Jr., Nicholas, Christopher, Jonathan, James Paul, Nichole, Kristy, Chris Jr., Daniel, Phillip III, Corey, Faith, Billy IV, and Alex; 33 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his aunt, Ruth Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, his children Jerry Wayne Lemons, and his siblings Billy Joe Lemons and Rat Lemons.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, officiated by Tim Boyett. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery.
