Clarence Cleo Alexander – Obituary

Funeral service for Clarence Cleo Alexander, 87, will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Eva United Methodist Church with Bro. Bill Stone and Bro. Al Dean officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state, at the church, for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery at Eva, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Alexander died on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1927, in Morgan County to Samuel Clarence Alexander and Pearlie Mae Tomlin Alexander. Mr. Alexander retired in 1987 from D.E.C.A.S. in Huntsville, where he was a Quality Engineer. He also worked for NASA , as a Contract Engineer. He was a member of Eva United Methodist Church and served on the Eva City Council for 16 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, he served on the USS South Dakota. He was preceded by two sons: Danny Alexander and Sgt. Allon Alexander and his parents, two brothers: Euell and Charlie Alexander, and two sisters: Lovie Roberts and Clarrene Brown.

his Wife of 68 Years, Marigurette L. Alexander, Eva, AL

One Son:
Ricky Alexander, Eva, AL

One Brother:
Hollis Alexander, Eva, AL

Two Sisters:
Jewell Nelson, Eva, AL and
Audrey Holmes, Hueytown, AL

Three Grandsons:
Shane, Austin and Nathan Alexander
Pallbearers will be Sammy Nelson, Stanley Nelson, Ronnie Alexander, Tim Alexander, Johnnie Brown and Shane Alexander.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Alexander and Nathan Alexander.
