Clarence C. Pigg , age 90, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, an retired employee of Union Carbide and a member of the Methodist Faith. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Pigg was also a member of the VFW post 1618.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, July 30, 2012, with Bro. Bobby Gobble officiating. Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
His parents were the late Guy W. and Zennie Vandergriff Pigg.
He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, William and Ernest Pigg.He is survived by
