Gravesides services for Mrs. Clara Whatley Hudson, age 96 of Maryville, TN, formerly of Clay County, will be held at Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 12:00 pm.
Mrs. Hudson passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 in Maryville, TN. She is survived by a daughter, Janice H. Wade (Gary) of Maryville, TN; brother, Fred Whatley (Polly) of Lineville; two sisters, Mabel Barton of Lanett, AL and Bobbie Roland of El Toro CA; grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Greg), Allison Soloe (Eddie), Sarah Crawford (Sam), Ryan Wade, Jennifer Grayson (Nick), Felicia Thomas (Lee) and seven great-grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Jacob Whatley; mother, Stella Gertrude Short; husband of 56 years, Willard F. Hudson; daughter, Judy Crenshaw; two sisters, Louise Ingram and Clyde Sims; four brothers, James Brinton, Harold, Jack, and Keith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Ingram, James Sims, Mike Whatley, Rick Whatley, Ed Whatley, Steve Whatley, Kenny McDonald, Mike Rose, Mac Hudson, and Scotty Hudson.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am.
