Life celebration service for Clara Jean Steele, loving known to everyone as Mama Jean, age 92, of Moulton will be 2:00 PM on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Phil Lawrence and Pastor Lynn Terry officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Mama Jean passed from the temporal to her eternal reward as gently as an autumn breeze at her home on October 27, 2023. She was a very dedicated Christian wo loved God, family, friends, cooking and flowers. She was born February 4, 1931, to Emery E, and Luvinia Mardis Dempsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Herschel Terry, P.J. Moody and Clarence Steele, brother James Matthew Dempsey and sisters Arnice Shikles, Lina Mae Dempsey, Tressie Nix, Buen Terry, Annie Carter and Lessie White.
