Clara Faye Nelson age 82 of Guin, AL passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.
Born February 28, 1942 in Hamilton, AL, she is the Daughter of the late Arthur “Jack” and Minnie Hughes Martin and the Wife of Arthur Wayne Nelson. She had lived in Guin most of her life, was a member of the Grace Church, and was Manager of the Munsingwear Outlet in Guin for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, traveling and her family.
She is Survived by her Husband, Arthur Wayne Nelson, 2 Daughters, Beverly (Randy) Hall, and Vicki (Frank) Pugh, 3 Grandchildren, Leslie (Jon) Raper, Randi (Dustin) Hatton, and Chase Hall, 2 Great Grandchildren, Jon Hayden Raper, and Harris Robert Hatton, and several dear Nieces and Nephews.
She was also preceded in death by 3 Sisters, Carolyn Franks, Martha Dean Hankins and Dorothy Martin and a Brother, Harold Martin.
Services held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the Grace Church with Burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. David Allison officiating.
