Clara Faye Lesley, 86, of the Friendship community, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born May 1, 1928, in Itawamba County to the late Garvin and Mina Waddle Jarrell. She was a long-time member of Friendship United Methodist Church and the Friendship Homemakers Club. She loved traveling and working in her daylilies.
Services will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday, January 6, at the Friendship United Methodist Church with Bro. Rickey Lesley and Bro. Darrell Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne (Connie) Lesley and Dale (Peggy) Lesley; two brothers, Bobby (Pearline) Jarrell and Johnny (Martha) Jarrell; two sisters, Mildred Blaylock and Nell Blaylock, all of Fulton; ten grandchildren, Josh (Mandy) Lesley, Tara Lesley, Jeremy Lesley, Susan White, Justin (Jessica) White, Jared (Joy) White, Jordan Lesley, Brooke (Gabe) Balderas, Brandie (Kevin) Phillips, and Russ (April) Gordon; 13 great-grandchildren, Lana, Eva, Jase, and Jenna White; Mikah Beth and Tinley Grace Lesley; Braden, Waverly, and Annalise Phillips; Grant Gordon; and Gaberilla, Cruz, and Becket Balderas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lesley; infant twins; her daughter, Mitzi White; her parents; and one brother, Tommy Jarrell.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Lesley, Russ Gordon, Jeremy Lesley, Josh Lesley, Justin White, Jake Loague, Jackie Dale Riley, and Jared White.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Monday, January 5, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
