Mrs. Claire W. Kakalios, who celebrated her 100th birthday last April, passed away at her home in Florence on Sunday, January 25, 2016.
Visitation will begin Thursday at 12:30 p.m. with the service of remembrance following at 2:00 p.m. Frank Mills will officiate. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Claire is survived by her daughter Kathy Parkinson of Florence; grandchildren Tracy Lynn Hiebel of Pompano Beach, Florida and John Joseph Hiebel and wife Sheri of Florence; great-grandchildren Rachel Renee Hiebel and Olivia Claire Hiebel; nieces and nephews Dorothy Nelson (Bob) of Haverhill, MA; special friends Betty Tatum, Jane Hanback, Pat Malone and Brad Gusmus.
She was preceded in death by her parents Emil Herman Wagner and Amelia Halbach Wagner; brothers Herman and Carl Wagner and son-in-law Clay Parkinson.
Pallbearers will be Brad Gusmus, Howard Caperton, Sonny Pollock, Charles Thompson, Glen Tatum and Tex Tatum. Linville Hanback and Joe Suazo will serve as honorary pallbearers.
