Mr. CJ Garrett, age 26, of Scottsboro, passed away September 29, 2024 at Highlands Medical Center.
CJ worked as a machinist, a wheeler and dealer, very mechanically inclined. He was a person with a huge heart, his infectious smile would light up the room. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all whom knew him. CJ has left an impact on all that ever had the pleasure of knowing him, he had a true servants’ heart.
CJ is survived by his wife, Casey Campbell Garrett; daughters, Jacey, Zailey, Journey, and Dayley; son, Calvin; parents, Charles and Sueann Garrett; sisters, Karriann and Shiann (Jessie) Campbell; grandparents, Shelia Garrett, Bobby (Donna) Garrett; niece, Addison Tidwell; nephews, Declin Tidwell and Brentley; several aunts, uncles, family and friends; aunts, Martha (Kevin) Strauther, Jolene (Derrick) Smith; uncles, Richard Jr. (Lisa) Joyce, and Bryan (Katie) Garrett, along with several other family and friends.
CJ was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Frances Magnus; uncle, William Garrett; cousins, Wyatt Garrett and Riverlynn Smith.
Funeral service will be Sunday, October 6, 2024 11:00 am at Scottsboro Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
