City Of Florence Executive Assistant To Mayor Retires After 42 Years Of Service

FLORENCE-Sandra Morgan, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, retires after 42 years of service to the community. Mayor Holt said, “I, with the Mayors before me, humbly say thank you to Sandra Morgan for her service to the City of Florence. She has played a great part in the success of our City for the past 42 years and will be truly missed,” said Mayor Steve Holt.

Sandra served under the Florence Commission from 1977- 1984. The Florence Commission included J. Hollie Allen, James F. Hall, and William E. Batson. After Florence implemented full time government, she has served through five administrations.

1984 – 2001 James Eddie Frost.

2001 – 2004 William D. Jordan
