City of Athens Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

 ATHENS-The Athens-Limestone Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday March will be Monday, Jan. 17, at 9 a.m. on The Square. The march will go around the Courthouse and then north on Marion Street to Pryor Street and to the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives.
The Athens-Limestone Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Program will be Monday, Jan. 17, at 9:30 a.m. at the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives. Students who placed in the essay contest will read their essays and receive their awards, and those who placed in the art contest will receive their awards. Their artwork will be on display.
