WINSTON COUNTY-The next Citizens Academy for Winston County will start next Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 6::30 PM. The classes will be held at the Double Springs Municipal Building in the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) classroom. We will be having the Law Enforcement Explorers sitting in with us the first couple of nights. Tell anyone you know who may be interested in attending. Anyone interested can get an application from the Winston County Sheriff’s Office before the meeting or just show up and fill out an application on the first night of class. The class will run from 6:30 PM till 8:30 PM for eight consecutive Thursday nights. Everyone is welcome so bring a friend.
