Funeral service Cindy Wood, 50, of Hanceville will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Stonebridge Farms with Reverends Rodney Thompson and Bradley McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem East Cemetery in Hanceville. Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cindy’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening beginning at 6 p.m. and at Stonebridge from 1 p.m.
The daughter of Truman and Barbara Haynes Steele who died after an extended illness was born in Cullman and was a cosmetologist. She is survived by her husband, David Wood; children, Heather (Judd) Foust, Justin (Sarah) Wood and Skylier (Nikki) Wood. Her mother, Barbara Steele, Grandchildren; Kaysen, Miles, Sophia, Matthew, Tynzlee and Acksten Wood. Siblings Ronald Steele, Anita Robinson, Donald (Kitty) Steele and Kenneth (Ellen) Steele.
