Cindy Gayle Renfroe, age 61 of Belvidere, went home to join her heavenly Father on December 3, 2023. A native of Franklin County, she was born on July 27, 1962, in Winchester to the late Ralph Jernigan and Dorothy Jean (Watson) Brazier. Cindy was a 1980 graduate of Franklin County High School. She worked for over twenty years as a dedicated mail carrier for Estill Springs Post Office until she retired. She loved her customers and worked diligently to serve everyone well. Cindy enjoyed sitting on her porch, spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and taking rides. One of her favorite places to visit was the Sewanee Cross. Cindy was a precious soul and a joy to be around as she had an unforgettable sense of humor. She never complained and used humor to find the lighter side of tough situations. She was generous and often put others above herself. She took in many as her own family, and she had compassion for animals and took them in too. Cindy was quiet and slow-tempered until she had enough…she always stood up for those she loved. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife of thirty-six years. She will be deeply missed.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas and Charlene Brazier, and John and Beatrice Watson. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years, Charlie Renfroe; daughters, Amanda (Keith) Morris, and Brandi Renfroe; and grand puppy, Wheezie. A special thank you to her wonderful and loving caregivers, Wendy Cunningham and Camille Meyers. Thank you to those who showed up often, stayed late, and who have kept us fed. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 8, 2023, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
