Cindy Darlene Sherer Basenberg, age 62 of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12 PM in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery. Rob Gurganus will officiate.
Mrs. Basenberg was preceded in death by her Mother-Wanda Daniel; Father-Chester Sherer; Step Father-Robert Daniel; Twin Brother-Chester Sherer, Jr.; Brother-Ricky Sherer; Special Friend-Gary Jordon “Sonny”; Grandson-Nicholas Dill.
She is survived by her Daughters-Candace Dobbins Lilly and Tracy Dobbins; Son-in-law-Mitch Lilly; Sister-Belinda Lawson (Dwight); Brother-Nathan Sherer (Brittney); Grandchildren-Kyla Wallace, Justin Wallace, Londyn Lilly, Logan Lilly, Emary Dobbins, Curtis Bell; Soon to be Great Grandchild-Scarlett Phillips.
A special “Thank You” to Kindred Hospice and the very caring staff, Misty Jackson, Tiffany Brown, Wayne Keeton, and Chris Godfrey. She adored these people and they did her.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made towards the funeral expenses.
