Chuck “Pops” Gann, age 79 of Lebanon, crossed over on November 23, 2024. The Celebration of Life is noon Friday, December 6, 2024 at Immanuel Baptist Church (214 Castle Heights, Lebanon TN). Pastor Darrin Reynolds will officiate. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the service at noon.

Charles Wayne Gann was born in Lebanon TN to Alice Ovilla Whitehead Gann and Milton Louis Gann. He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne, where his lifelong love of sky diving began. He met and married Sharon Reding and they embarked on life together. Chuck attended Immanuel Baptist Church, where Sharon has worked for most of her life. He loved the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Chuck Gann is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon Reding Gann; children: Charles Wayne (Susan) Gann Jr. and Angela Dawn (Lawrence aka Clinard) Kemp; grandchildren: Whitney (Alex) Cripps, McKenzie Gann, Victoria (Lucas) Miller, Nicholas (Vanessa) Dushek, Taylor Downs, Brooke Gann, and Brailey Gann; great-grandchildren: Everett and Rosemary Cripps, Peyton and William Miller, and Addicus and Kolson Stithem; daughter-in-law: Sandra Gibbs; siblings: Paulette Beasley and Jim (Linda) Gann; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Scott Gann, parents Alice and Louis Gann, brothers Milton, Odell, Kenneth, and Robert, and sisters Margie, Louise, Billie Faye, and Edith.
