Christopher Wayne Walters, 49, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Athens Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Mr. Walters is preceded in death by his sister, Charla Walters, two grandmothers, Olene Zachary and Ethel Walters, as well as one grandfather, Louis Walters.
He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Katherine Walters, one brother, Caleb (Casey) Walters, one sister, Cheree (Shawn) Lankford, three nieces; Riley, Mikki, and Hannah, as well as one nephew, David.
Mr. Walters lived around the Ardmore area for the last 5 years and was of the Pentecostal faith. He attended Taft Full Gospel Church.
There will be a Graveside Service held for Mr. Walters on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Gatlin Cemetery beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Bro. Bruce Addison will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
