Christopher Shannon Jefferies, age 27, of Killen, passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017. Visitation will be today, October 1st from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Monday, October 2nd at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Centery Star Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Smith (Smitty), Daiquan Chandler, Cole Sartain, Coleman Miller, Brett Jefferies, Blaine Jefferies, Caleb Sartain, and Jacob Craig. Cousins will serve as honorary pallbearers.
He was a 2008 graduate of Deshler High School. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Dan Jefferies, Gladys and Bill McGee.
Survivors are his mother, Deonna Shirley (Joe); father, Bryan Jefferies (Lisa); sisters, Haley Wallace (Daiquan), Alexis Jefferies, Brittney Rhodes, Margaret Shirley, Elizabeth Clark, Shyla McGee, and Kayla Hamm; special nieces, Little P, Toodles and Kevin; his “Buddy” Richie Wallace; his (MIMI), Mazie Jean Jefferies; grandparents, Joe and Maxine Shirley; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends that thought the world of Chris. He brought sunshine where ever he was.
