Christopher Robert “Chris” Crocker, 41 of Scottsboro, AL went to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
There will be private viewing for immediate family only at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, AL on Friday, August 4, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
Chris was born September 2, 1981 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Kenneth Crocker and Vicki Crocker.
Chris graduated from Alabama Southern Community College with an Associates Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation. He was employed at WestRock as an E & I Superintendent.
Chris was a loving husband and father.
Chris enjoyed spending time with his family friends and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Brittany Yelverton Crocker and their two daughters, Kelsey Crocker and Kaitlyn Crocker of Scottsboro, AL; and his sister Terri Madden and husband Red of Williston, FL.
Chris was also survived by the following family members: mother in law Sherry Joiner and husband David; father in law Jimmy Yelverton and wife Allison; aunt Karen Smith and husband JR; cousins Steven Smith, Lee Smith and Michael Denham; aunt Gaynel Etheredge and aunt Debbie Duren and husband, Doug and nieces Mary Morgan Crocker and Macey Madden.
Chris was predeceased by brother, Denson Crocker.
In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up at Trustmark Bank Demopolis, AL Branch for the Children of Chris Crocker.
