Christopher Paul Ashlock, born April 24th, 1985, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, at the age of 38 while at home surrounded by his family.
Chris is survived by his son, Dallas Dean Ashlock; his mother, Tammy Highfield; his brother, Brian Keith Ashlock II (Rachel Sweeney); his nephew, Reilly Ashlock; his grandparents, Anita Pounders, Harold and Jean Ashlock; aunts, Vicki Farris (Jerry), Sheryl Aderholt (Norman); uncle, Lonnie Ashlock (Beverly); cousins, Rusty and Michael Brinlee, Brandon and Clint Ashlock, Tommy Britton, Heather King (Jonathan); special family friends, Tommy Honey and daughter, Connie, Ashley Hadley Allen, the Muscle Shoals 12u Travel Baseball Team Family.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Brian Keith Ashlock Sr.; step-father, Terry Highfield; grandfather, Burlon Pounders; cousin, Krystle Farris.
Chris was a loving father and avid Alabama and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was beloved by his family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, from 2 :00 – 4:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow with Ryan Mouser and Dr. Jack McLendon officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Dupree, Blake Sams, Ryan Fisher, Scott Rikard, Chad Bourland, Chris Isbell, Wes Todd, Blaine Adair, and Eric Smith.
