Christopher Lynn Brock Christopher Lynn Brock, 62, employee of Graphic Packaging International and resident of Williamsport, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Mylen Coble and Brother Phil Mash officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Born January 2, 1961 in Lawrence County he was the son of the late Oakley Eloid Brock and the late Lillian Allene Wix Brock. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Mr. Brock loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming. Mr. Brock was always known for helping others, enjoyed visiting with others, and inviting people to church. He was an active member of Viola Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include his wife, whom he married November 21, 1998, Kathleen Fite “Kathy” Brock of Williamsport; daughter, Lindsey (Freddy) Hart of Lawrence County; son, Phil (Brandie) Mash of Williamsport; Justin (Azure) Mash of Alabama; several grandchildren; and siblings, Tony (Ruth) Brock of Lawrence County; Rhonda (Everett) Spears of Lawrence County; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Active pallbearers will be Mason Mash, Parker Mash, Toby Brock, Nick Andrews, Ryan Slaughter, and George Nuber. Honorary pallbearers include members of Viola Baptist Church and old fishing buddies.
