Mrs. Christine Summerhill Shelton, 84, of Florence, died Saturday, April 27, 2013. Viewing will be Friday, May 3, 2013, from 1-7 p.m. at Saints Funeral Home of Sheffield. The funeral will be Saturday, May 4, at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor F.C. Rowlett is officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Summerhill was the former owner of Shelton Funeral Service in Florence, Ala.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Jacque’ Shelton; son, Troy Shelton; brother, Charles Miller Summerhill (Eugina); sister, Eula Smith; three grandchildren, Kyle S. Shelton, Cassidy Shelton Wallace and Trevor D.B. Shelton; a devoted niece, Nina Cephus; a brother-in-law, Bill Hamer (Eva); a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and friends.
