Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Hardaway, age 98, will be held at 2 PM Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM Monday until service time.
Mrs. Hardaway, a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Trenton, TN and a retired Administration Assistant for Trenton Mills, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the TN State Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.
Mrs. Hardaway was preceded by her husband, William “Billy” Hardaway Jr.; a sister, Rose Smith; and two brothers, Thomas Chester and Walter Chester.
Mrs. Hardaway is survived by her daughter, Tina Giddens and husband, Ronnie Jr.; two grandchildren, Aly Dew and husband Cody, and Anna Katherine Wait and husband Luke; and four great-grandchildren, Tripp Wait, Emma Kyle Wait, Cade Dew, and Saylor Dew.
