Christine Gibson, age 97, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Christine was a member of Hillwood Baptist Church. She worked for the Huntsville City School System at Chafee Elementary as a Teacher’s Aid. Christine was preceded in death by her parents Henry Delone Brown and Mary Ollie Brown, her husband of 72 years Billy Brannon Gibson. Brothers James Brown, Allton Brown, Noah “Buck” Brown and Royce Brown. Sisters, Leola Jacobs and Jewel Criswell.
Christine is survived by her children Greg Gibson and his wife Debbie, Cathy Maner and her husband Gary, Roger Gibson and his wife Krista and Karen Gibson. Grandchildren, Aimee, Anna, Mary Brantley, Donnie, Diana, Kelly and Caroline, as well as 13 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation for Christine will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Following the visitation will be the celebration of life service at 2:30 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
Christine will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens
