Christine Bridges, age 82, of Huntsville passed away on Wednesday May 29, 2013.
Mrs. Bridges is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Troy Bridges, Jr.; Her daughter, Kim Bridges; her father, Tom Hall; her mother, Lou Drake; 2 Brothers; and 2 Sisters.
Mrs. Bridges is survived by her daughters, Diane Atchley of Priceville, Judy Bibby of Lacey’s Spring, Jean Brandau of Huntsville, and Kathy McCartney of Toney; her sister, Estelle Gibson of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Paul Brandau, Angie Williams, Anna Schmitz, Troy McCartney, and Adam McCartney; and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Saturday June 1, 2013 at 2 pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on that day from 1pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the RCU Unit at Huntsville Hospital and Dr. Luther Corley and staff for the excellent care given to Mrs. Bridges during her illness.
