Funeral for Christine Barnes Standridge, 93, of Decatur, will be Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 1:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Posey officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00PM-1:00PM Thursday at the funeral home
Mrs. Standridge died on Monday, June 26, 2023 at her residence. She was born September 16, 1929 in Lawrence County, Alabama to Rufus Lee and Victoria Gillespie Barnes.
She was a member of Austinville Church of Christ. She loved gardening, reading, sewing, and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Lee Standridge.
Survivors include, sons, Greg Standridge, Chris Standridge (Diana), daughter, Ann Coggins (Pierre), 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
