Christian Benito Paxtor Alvarez, age 26 of Nauvoo, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Iglesia Alfa y Omega Principe de Paz, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Chris Stokes, Alisha Stokes, and Jose Albert Ordoñez will officiate.
Mr. Alvarez was preceded in death by his Father-Manuel Paxtor Alvarez; Mother-Opal Lashea Williams; Grandfather-Benito Francisco Paxtor; Grandmother-Mildred Williams; Cousin-Alex Benito Pashtor Paxtor; Uncle-George Williams.
He is survived by his Wife-Yarisbel Alvarez of Jasper; Stepmother-Olga Gomez of Jasper; Daughter-Leilani Lashay Calderon Alvarez of Nauvoo; Son-Meli-Manuel Calderon Alvarez Nauvoo; Sisters-Heavenly-Rose Micaela Alvarez, Genesis Magdalena Paxtor Gomez, and Natalia Micaela Paxtor Gomez of Jasper; Brothers-Dawson Manuel Paxtor Alvarez and Dennis Rosendo Paxtor Gomez of Jasper; Grandmother-Micaela Alvarez Ordoñez of Totonicapán, Guatemala.
