Christeen “Tip” Lawrence Turner, age 87, Haleyville, AL. passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015. She was a member of Delmar Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be Saturday August 15, 2015 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with the funeral at 1:00PM in the chapel with her sister, Vesta Lawrence Beatty giving the Eulogy, and Bro. Bill Frank Wilson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery at Kelly Mill.
She is survived by her husband, Ollis A. “Dutton” Turner; children, Mitchell Blaine Turner, wife Patricia, Theresa Ann Poe, husband Gary and Dion Craig Turner, wife Lisa; sisters, Willowdean “Dean” Lawrence Fell White, Maxine Lawrence Godsey and Vesta Lawrence Beatty, husband Bob; 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester Clarence Lawrence and Neatie Lee Pierce Lawrence; brothers, Mack Edward Lawrence and E. I . “Buddy” Lawrence; sister, Doris V. Lawrence; son, Byron Michael Turner; granddaughter, Amanda Christeen Turner.
