Chris Gage was born January 1, 1957 in Henderson, TN, the son of the late George Martin Gage and Amy D. Snider Gage.
He was united in marriage to Unita Crewse on January 6, 1984.
He was a Master Brick Layer (Union 3-MA), and became a member in November 1987. He traveled all over for his job, mainly in the Eastern part of the United States. He had a passion for raised bed gardening and grew some of the best tomatoes. Often you could find him fishing in at the watershed in Bethel Springs. He was an excellent marksman shooter, loved riding and tinkering with motorcycles.
Mr. Gage departed this life on February 22, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 65 Years, 1 Month, 21 Days. He is survived by his wife, Unita Gage of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters, Summer Ramsey and husband Robert of Jackson, TN, Amber Miller and husband Tony of Finger, TN; a son, Andy Gage and wife Dusti of Counce, TN; four grandchildren: Khyla Ramsey, Alisyn Gage, Clive Gage, Elijah Miller; four sisters: Gale Treece and husband Greg of Selmer, TN, Barbara (Sissy) Moore of Soddy Daisy, TN, Lila Parker and husband Billy of Nashville, TN, Brenda Rickman and husband Bobby of Chattanooga, TN; aunt, Ruby Lee Snider of Tupelo, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gage was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Snider Gage.
