ATHENS – Athens Main Street is proud to announce the 2019 Chocolate Walk is Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. You can fall in love with Downtown Athens, while enjoying some sweet treats. Ticket holders enjoy a chocolate treat, sweet deals, and a chance to win a door prize from participating businesses during this prelude to Valentine’s Day.
Tickets went on sale today and are $5.00 each. They can be purchased online through Eventbrite or at the Athens Main Street office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. leading up to the event.
Athens Main Street Executive Director Tere Richardson said “All you need is love and chocolate! Bring along someone you love and indulge your sweet tooth at the 2019 Chocolate Walk. Whether is it a significant other, good friends, or family, we have yummy treats and great shopping in Downtown, Athens.”
Tickets are limited to the first 200 walkers. Walkers will start at the Athens Main Street office, 107 N. Jefferson Street, and will be handed a walking map, a list of participating merchants, and a goodie bag from Athens Main Street.
