Chester worked for Allgas for 35 years, but worked delivering propane for over 40 years. Everyone knew him. He loved his customers. He would even go in their houses and talk to them for an hour or so. He became friends with most. A lot of them were with that specific propane company just because Chester was their propane man.

Chester also loved mowing his grass or if he ran out of grass, he would mow his daughters grass, the neighbors or even the side of the street. He would find somewhere to mow grass. Before Chester got sick, he loved going dancing. He loved to two-step and waltz. He was very well known for his dancing. It was a big part of his life for many years. Chester was a hardworking and honest man. He spoke his mind. He did not like a liar. If you were going to lie to him, do not bother speaking. He would never lie to you.

As Chester would always say, “Play pretty”…
