Mission Statement:
Florence Lauderdale Animal Services is dedicated to the delivery of humane and responsive animal care and control services for our community. We work in partnership with fosters, volunteers, local adopters, and various rescue groups to re-home animals in loving environments. It is our goal to provide exceptional services to the pets and people of our community.
Vision Statement:
It is the vision of Florence Lauderdale Animal Services to:
- Provide assistance and resources to our citizens to keep animals in their homes
through quality veterinary care, training programs and community education. - Shelter and find homes for sick; injured; abused; and abandoned, adoptable domestic
animals. - Reduce overpopulation of animals through spay and neuter programs throughout
the local community. - Recruit and retain loving, caring and dedicated volunteers from our community, and
train our volunteers to provide daily pet care and socialization to the pets who call our
animal services their temporary home. - Work in conjunction with SafePlace to provide temporary shelter for pets affected by
domestic violence.
Ms. Jones is committed to comprehensive services, and is excited and grateful for the opportunity to provide leadership for and to work along with the City as it prepares to open the new Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services building.
