Troy Lee Keller – Arrested for alleged sexual abuse of a minor
TUSCUMBIA – Troy Lee Keller, 26, 1085 Hillcrest Drive, Cherokee, is being held on $75-thousand bond for his alleged sexual abuse of an underage girl. The man is incarcerated at Colbert County Jail.
Sheriff Ronnie May said the girl first met Keller on facebook. He said that she was spending the night with a family on the west-side of the County.
May said the allegations go like this:
The incident took place about a week ago.
The girl had been communicating with Keller for about 3 days. They talked about the possibility of going to parties together.
He convinced her to let him pick her up from the relative’s house and she agreed.
She snuck out of the house about 2 in the morning and met up Keller.
She said that Keller took her to a dark spot somewhere near Allsop Road. There, he put some sort of powder into a beer, which she drank.
He started fondling her. That was the last thing she remembers until he dropped her off near her relative’s house.
After an investigation that lasted several days, Keller was arrested.
