Chasity Jewel Kennedy, 24, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024. She was born in Amory, MS and attended Lovejoy Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 17, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Cale George and Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 16, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Hunter Kennedy; daughter, Kylie Channell; mother, Jessica and Jacob Zappa; father, T.J. Gresham; sisters, Kendrea Guyton (John-Chase), Brianna Gresham (Jacob), Taylor Zappa (Eric) and Sophie Gresham; one brother, Jake Zappa (Kathryn); father and mother-in-law, Rodney and Kristi Kennedy; brothers, Chance Kennedy (Shelby) and Wyatt Kennedy (Alexis); grandparents, Kathy Higgins, Kathy and Jess Zappa, Danny and Janet Smith, James and Janice Kennedy and Ed Finch; nieces and nephews, David, Chance and Chastin Johnsey, Ava, Copen and Wrenlee Hartman and Ashlynn Peters; two special god-children, Roslyn and William Graham and a host of aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, David Higgins, Sandra Gale and Terry Gresham, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Kennedy,Jake Zappa, Chance Kennedy, Wyatt Kennedy, Chase Johnsey, Mark Stone, Alex Shelton and Dewayne Emerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Kayla Ables, Chloe Roberson, Emily Swinney, Taylor Zappa, Shelby Millem, Alexis Jeane and Annabelle Upton.
