Chasity Dawn Hill, age 45 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on July 26, 1978. A dedicated homemaker, Chasity was selfless and always taking care of her family and friends. She loved reading and traveling, especially to the beach where she enjoyed looking for shells and hunting for crabs, as well as snorkeling. Chasity had a beautiful soul and was always happy…she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Stephens Prince; grandfather, Charlie Stephens; brother-in-law, Troy Mathis; and uncle, Jim Wimley. Chasity is survived by her loving husband of twenty-six years, Dewayne Hill; children, Brooklyn (Nathan) Cagle, Katelyn Hill, Jessica Prince, and Haley Prince; father, Wayne Prince; grandmother, Wanda Stephens; sister, Amanda (Danny) Couch; father and mother-in-law, Stanley and Diane Hill; sisters-in-law, Ladonna (Scottie) Ledford and Linda Mathis; aunts, Gail Wimley and Tammy (Darrell) Ryan; and countless nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
