Chase Maxwell of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 after an automobile accident. He was 18.
Chase was a senior at Hazel Green High School and was also a student at Madison County Technical Center where he was in his second year of welding classes. He was employed at Zaxby’s in Hazel Green. Chase enjoyed shooting basketball and playing football with his brother and friends and working on his Corvette.
Chase was preceded in death by his mother, Holly Maxwell; His grandfathers, Burdell Maxwell, John DuBois, and Robert Berry, and his grandmother, Rose Maxwell.
Surviving family members include his brother, Hunter Maxwell; his grandmother, Janice DuBois; his father, Chris Maxwell; his uncles, Steve (Carrie) Maxwell and Vincent Maxwell; his aunt, Brenda Kirby; his aunt, Haley Harper; his uncle, Jeffrey Harper; his cousins: Hannah Werth, Heath Berry, Vlad Maxwell, Tristan Maxwell, Kayden Maxwell, Amanda Patrick, and Megan Miller. He is also survived by special friends, Aydin York, Louis Anderson, Josh Peper, and Zoey Boyett.
The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery following the chapel service.
