Charlsie Duboise Murphy, age 93, was born July 14, 1929, and departed this earth to Heavens Pearly Gates on March 29, 2023.
Charlsie was a Christian and a member of New Hope Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Joe D. Murphy (Pamela) and Janet Miller (Rick); grandchildren, Amber Murphy Parris (John), Missy Miller, and Melinda Miller Thomas (Wesley); great-grandchild, Patrick Murphy Parris; sisters, Betty Allen, Sue Duboise Weeks (Hugh); sister-in-law, Linda Duboise, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her greatly.
Charlsie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Samuel Austeen Murphy; parents, Isaac N. Duboise, Lizzie Vinson Duboise; brother, Finch A. Duboise; brother-in-law, Wayne Allen.
Visitation took place on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. Delmar Duboise officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Parris, Rick Duboise, Jay Duboise, Trace Duboise, Isaac Duboise, Al Galloway. Honorary pallbearers were Hugh Weeks, Ridge Murphree, Roger Murphree, Harris Murphree and Derrick Scott.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
