Charlotte Teresa Macy age 78 of Smithville passed away Wednesday August 12, 2020 at her son’s residence in Smithville. She was born December 16, 1941 to her parents the late Chester and Charlotte Wolford Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Macey; and her grandparents. She worked several years at S & W Mfg. and worked at the Senior Center. She is survived by her children, Woodrow (Beverly) Burns of Florida; Kimberly Baker of Liberty, and Robert Macy of Smithville; grandchildren, Michelle, Valerie, Nichole, Monica, Ryan, and Little Woody Burns; several great- grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren; brothers, Chet (Lynn) Martin, and Joel (Sue) Martin; host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; good friend Pam, and everyone at the Senior Center; and loving neighbors, The Adcock’s. The family has honored Ms. Charlotte’s request to be cremated and no public services are planned. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
