Funeral service for Charlotte Pitt Wiley, age 76, of Hartselle, will be Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Tomlinson and Rev. Melvin Hunter officiating. The burial will be at the Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wiley died February 18, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born February 15, 1948, in Decatur to Billy “BF” Pitt and Frances “Jimmie” Pitt. Charlotte was a homemaker for 57 years, a substitute teacher for over 20 years for Falkville, and was also known as the writer of the Cedar Creek News for the Hartselle Enquirer for many years. She was an avid seamstress and could sew anything. Charlotte loved her church, Cedar Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Alabama football, camping, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents.
