Charlotte Minor Pulley, 87, retired Medical Transcriptionist for Dr. Fuqua and Dr. Gardner and resident of Groveland Ridge Road, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Brandon Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Born December 25, 1931 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Davis Minor and the late Mary Roberts Minor. She was a 1949 graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended Columbia Business College. She began her working career with Southern Bell Telephone Company, then worked at First Farmers and Merchants Bank for five years. She was a former secretary for Woodmen of The World Chapter 18 in Columbia. Mrs. Pulley was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, whom she married November 21, 1956, William Neal “Bill” Pulley, Sr.; sons, William “Neal” (Belinda) Pulley, Jr., Sidney Thomas “Tommy” (Valerie) Pulley both of Columbia; grandchildren, Lindsay Pulley (John) Garlit of Spring Hill; Brett (April) Pulley of Nashville; Amber Pulley (Cameron) Hood of Columbia; Deanna Pulley (Kenny) Carson of Columbia; great grandchildren, Deaken Carson, Logan Hood, Grayson Carson, Emery Hood; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard, D.K., Doris, Herman, Hubert; and sisters, Annie Frances Jones, Christine Jones, and Lorena Minor.
Active pallbearers will be Eddie Jones, Steve Jones, Andy Pulley, Terry Marks, Edmond Rollins, Wayne Bass, Troy Wilson, Terry Hann, and Ricky Minor. Honorary pallbearers include Frank Boyd, Tom Bartlett, and ladies of Columbia Central High School of 1949.
