Charlotte June Gilliland, 72, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her daughter’s residence. She was born to Alton Bryant “Buddy” and Beatrice Ellis Taylor. She attended Old Bethel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 13, at 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Steve Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery, Nettleton, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Wendy Stanley (Josh) and LaBreeska June Carter; grandchildren, Parker Stanley, Will Weeks, Colton Gilliland (Amber), Anna Grace Humphres, Gretchen Kate Carter and Jameson Bryant Carter; one great-granddaughter, Paislee Brooke; sister, Carolyn Nicholson; brother, Benny Taylor and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William “Bill” Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Josh Stanley, Colton Gilliland, Bryant Carter, Brody Raper, Payton Thorn, Parker Stanley, Will Weeks, Jody Raper and Chandler McCain.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 1-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
