On November 12, 2021, Charlotte Jean Maples Hayle Towers passed from this earth into her Heavenly home. She is survived by her husband Benjamin F Towers (Ben), two daughters Lisa Carol Hayle Stewart and Charlotte Elaine Hayle Lantz (Bob). Also, after she married Ben she added two sons; Donald Towers and Rusty Towers and two daughters; Cheryl Boggus (Garry) and Cynthia Towers McCombs. Additionally, there are 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by their two cats Gabby and Mr. Black. Jean worked as a civil servant for over 30 years. Following her marriage to Ben in 1992, she retired so they could spend their time together. She and Ben were members of Willowbrook Baptist Church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. She greatly enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking. She was so excited when Southern Living featured her coconut cake with lemon-curd filling in one of their special publications. Visitation will be November 17 at Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Road, from 10 AM to 12 Noon with the Service beginning at Noon.
