Charlotte Elizabeth Rasbury, age 83 of Dora, passed away January 2, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Theo Rasbury; her son Mark Rasbury and her parents, Luther and Ethel Bates. Charlotte is survived by her sons, Steve Rasbury and John Rasbury (Jo Ann Thomas); sister, Francis Rasbury; grandchildren, Brandon Kirpatrick, Tiffany Kirpatrick, Markie Harding and Stachia Medders as well as her many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and loved ones. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother and caregiver to her family. She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, cookouts and holidays. She took great joy in being surrounded by her family. Charlotte enjoyed watching sports with her husband Theo. She attended New Temple Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 7, 2022 in the New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be from 10-11am. Chapel service will begin at 11am with graveside and burial following in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Bro. J.J. Creel officiating.
