Charlotte Donnell Jones, 60, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at her parents home in Colbert County, AL. She was born in Sheffield, AL and was a homemaker. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, Hodges, AL.
Services will be Thursday, August 31, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Clint Holcombe and Bro. Cody Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband – Brett Wayne Jones; three sons – Clint Holcombe (Misty), Chad Holcombe (Courtney), and Synjon Jones (Hali); father – Robert Curry; mother – Shirley Curry; nine grandchildren – Braiden Holcombe, Jayden Smith, Calei Holcombe, Madisyn Jones, Justus Holcombe, Connor Jones, Colt Holcombe, Damon Jones and Baby Jones and mother-in-law – Elva Jones.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George Edward Jones and Lola Beatrice Jones and her father-in-law, Casey Tulon Jones.
Pallbearers will be Nick Bates, Jordon Martin, Jayden Smith, Braiden Holcombe, Jesse Bates, Bradley Tucker and Joshua Wigginton. Honorary pallbearers will be Justus Holcombe, Colt Holcombe and Connor Jones.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
