Charlotte Ann Nunley, 57, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Iuka, MS to Julius Gasaway and Margaret Aday Gasaway. She worked at Tiffins, Schnadig and in a school cafeteria. She enjoyed yard sales, antique stores, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church.
Services will be Sunday, September 22, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Rusty Fair officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, September 22, 12-2 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Doug Nunley; children, Holly Maness (Elton) and Eli Nunley (Halle McCoy); grandchildren, Hugh Douglas Maness, Lucy Maness and Charlotte Ellen Maness; siblings, Jackie Gasaway (Peggy), Diane Shook, Marsha Carr, Michael Gasaway (Sharon), Sam Gasaway, Teresa Wooten (Jeff), Danny Wayne Gasaway, Brenda Kennedy, Angel Whitten and Joe Gasaway; mother-in-law, Louise Nunley and a host of brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ricky Gasaway; infant brothers, Danny and Stevie Gasaway; nephew, Jason Gasaway; father-in-law, Clifton Nunley and brother-in-law, Robert Shook.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Nunley, Elton Maness, Jonathan Nunley,Cliff Nunley, Zac Wooten, Tyler Wooten, Connor Shook and Sam Garrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Brady Vick, Bryson Strickland and Michael Lee.
