Charlotte Ann Brackin, age 72, of Florence, died, Saturday, February 11, 2017. There will be a graveside service on Monday, February 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery. Stan Dean will be officiating. The family will receive friends at Killen Church of Christ Monday from 11 to 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Brackin was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ruth Reynolds.
She was a native of Sheffield, Alabama and was a member of Killen Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Brackin; son Richie Brackin and wife Amy; grandchildren, Will and Lauren Brackin; brother, George Reynolds and wife Elaine; sister, Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough and husband Jim.
Special thanks to Dr. Daugherty, Dr. Patel, Dr. Hagler, and special friend Dr. James Northington, John Richards and staff at the N.W. Cancer Center, Helen Keller Hospital, Kindred Hospice and Angels Among Us for all of their care for Charlotte.
Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, George Hamner, Jerry Dean, Max Driggers, Bill Outlaw, and Garth Lovvorn. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Northington, John Richards, John and Dr. Jeffrey Lawson, and Billy Howard.
