Charline Carter 96 of Albertville passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Shepherds Cove Hospice.
Charline was born in Talihina, Ok. To Branum and Ada Postelle and was raised in Buffalo, Ok. One of 8 siblings, she was a proud member of the Oklahoma Choctaw Nation. She worked at a WWII Airplane Factory where she met her husband, Charles, who preceded her in death in 1994. They moved to Albertville in 1946 and raised 5 children. She was an avid sports fan and bridge player. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff at Shepherds Cove Hospice, Albertville Memorial Chapel and Bro. Jerry Lowery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice.
She will have a Graveside Service 11 a.m. Monday, December20, 2021 at Union Grove #1 Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Lowery will be officiating. Visitation will be Monday 9:30 until 10:30 at the funeral home before the service. Pallbearers will be Hugh Wayne Carter, II, Nathan Carter, Warren Carter, Matthew Isbell, Grant McCreary and Will McQuiston. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Isbell, Sr., Charles Carter, II, Will Westmoreland, Luke Westmoreland, Sam Coronado, Aaron Beard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Carter, son, Hugh W. Carter, Sr., son-in-law, Sam Isbell, Sr. and great grandson, Chad Bodie.
She is survived by her daughter; Ann Isbell of Tn., Sons; Crawford Carter (Carron) of N.C., Jonathan Carter (Beth) of Gadsden, Scott Carter (Rhonda) of Huntsville, Daughter-in-law; Jennifer Carter of Albertville, Brother; Danny Pearson (Armenda) of Ok., Sisters; Betty Hendrix of Ok., Betty Moberly of Ok., Grandchildren; Sam Isbell, Jr., Matthew Isbell, Hugh W. Carter, Jr., Nathan Carter, Warren Carter, Marissa McQuiston, Brittney Carter, Courtney Coronado, Charles Carter, II, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
