Charlie "TreeMan" Shreve Charlie ‘TreeMan’ Shreve, 50, of Mercer, passed from this life Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Brownsville, TN in a work related accident.

He was born July 31, 1970 in Green Cove Springs, Florida, the son of the late Charles Elmer Shreve and Betty Knight Baker of Bolivar. He grew up around Bolivar and was a 1988 graduate of Bolivar Central High School. He worked for 22 years as a climber in the timber industry, and for the last several years for Crossroads Tree Cutting Service. Most of his life was spent in southwest Tennessee with the last two years in Mercer, and he was considered a very religious person. His love for God was evident, especially when it came to his family and his kids, who were everything to him.

In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Isaiah Shreve of Henderson; a daughter, Elaine Shreve of Toone; a stepfather, Donald Baker of Bolivar; a stepson, Draven Coley of Lebanon, TN; and a brother, Tim Shreve of Bolivar. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Christine Shreve; a step brother, Greg Baker and a step sister, Lisa Baker. Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to Brints Chapel Baptist Church.
