Charlie Pointer, 93, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017. Public viewing will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and noon-6 p.m. Sunday at Jackson Memory Funeral Home. The funeral will be noon Monday at Gipson Chapel Methodist Church, Oakville community, with burial in Lindsey Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
