Mrs. Charlie Mae Bradford was born on July 3, 1940 in Huntsville, Alabama to Lena Mae Eason Ford and Jim Craighead. She departed this life on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined the Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Frank Bradford, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bradford, Jr.; mother, Lena Mae Ford; father, Jim Craighead; one sister; Willie Mae Stewart; sons, Calvin Stewart & William T. Drake; and grandson, Wayne Onell Battle.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Diane Leslie, Deloris McCullough; a very caring son, John Osborn; two grandsons, Lunia Leslie, III & Cornelius Leslie; two granddaughters, Lisa Ann Battle, Shelia Deloris Battle; great-grandchildren, Journe Leslie, Alex Cornell Leslie, Aubria Battle, Shanti Sky Humphrey, Keshia Battle, Keegan Noble, Eric Noble, Jr., Wayne Battle, Jr., Laurel Leslie, Key’onna Battle, Tati-onna Battle, Briaona Battle, Corri-onna Scott; great-great-grandchildren, Railyne Ivey, Nicholas Binford, Jr., Javier Scott, Nai’Lani Noel Anderson, Janet Ford, Jaquavous Collier, Jacorian Cree Leslie, Ky’nija Leslie, Jamarion Ford, Jaseion Battle, Serenity Jones; sister, Emma Jean Townsend; nieces, Janice Marie Thomas, Cathy Ford, Elizabeth Ford, Brenda Ford, Gloria Ford, Sandra Stewart, Peacock, Yvonne Roundtree; nephews, Anthony Stewart, Ronald Stewart; special friend, Cathy Smith, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Syler Tabernacle 904 Oakwood Avenue NW, Huntsville, AL 35811) with Pastor Larry Petty officiating. Interment will be in the Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mrs. Bradford will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2024, and 8:30 until 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Royal Funeral Home.
